Yes, we had 5 less tablecloths than we needed and had to call the stake R.S. Pres.,then after tasting the lemonade...it definitely needed more mix so Nick had to make a quick Macey's run, and then of course when the performers were waiting to dance...their cd wouldn't work in the computer, poor Dan Child was having a hard night trying to get it to work! But luckily the Nursery has spare cd players on hand! So the show went on, and everything turned out just fine! Yay!
The theme was 40's and 50's, so we had red, white, and black colors for balloons and decorations. And of course fun dance instruction during that time period!
We also encouraged people to dress up if they felt the need. We had prizes for best dressed....so, of course I had to go ALL out!! Plus...being in charge and all, I felt I needed to dress up! (kind of a "special" picture of me...but...whatev) Like the hair??
Jack had a blast! He and his friend Samantha had a good time dancing with each other and chasing each other around the gym all night! Oh, young love! j/k...he's got a few years...20 maybe!!!
Nick was the one taking all the pictures, and since I was running around all night, we didn't snatch any of him...but he looked great! He dressed up too, in rolled jeans, white t-shirt, slicked back hair with a comb in hand! Ya...it was awesome!
Our friend Ryan Jensen dressed up in his Sailor Suit, which was completely great!!
