Well, the Zion's trip wasn't enough for my boys...Nope, Nick and Jack wanted an actual "camping" experience. Some of Nick's friends from the ward planned a trip up AF canyon for an overnighter/guys camp-out! Phoebe wasn't feeling well that weekend (she had just gotten her immunizations) and was running a fever and wanted to be held 24/7. So, I agreed when Nick suggested that Jack tag along with him for the guys camp-out. He was the only child that attending and he had a blast with the Big Boys! Here are some pics from their excursion...
I mentioned earlier that I had a sinus attack. It was back in May/June and my sinuses were just killing. The Doc thought I had an infection, but a week and a half on antibiotics didn't help one bit...So, I went to an ear/nose/throat specialist after 2 weeks of non-stop headache pressure...I was at my breaking point! He took a looky up there (not too fun)...and recommended a sinus rinse to help release the pressure and pain. I wasn't sure how well it would work. I mean, you could buy the stuff at Costco!! But I gave it a try, rinsing twice a day everyday for 3 weeks! In one day my headache was gone and I felt so relieved and happy! This stuff is the bomb.com!!! Seriously, totally recommend... it even helps with allergies and colds. And, the best part, you can purchase it at Costco!

A few weeks back, I was getting ready for the day in my bathroom while Phoebe was taking a morning nap, and Jack was playing with blocks on my bedroom floor. Jack said to me, "Look, Mommy, the Temple." I turned to look to see what he was talking about and find this...
How cute is that!! My little builder...and he builds a temple with a Moroni and all! Geez! Where do these kids come from!? So smart...and so sweet!
That temple is the cutest thing! You've got one smart boy. It looks like you guys had fun "camping". I would've done the same thing. Camping has got to be hard with kiddos!
ReplyDeleteI love his little temple!! Looks like you guys are having a fun summer!!
