Once upon a time...there was a girl who was flexible and in awesome shape! She competed in ballroom competitions and danced all day, almost everyday... this picture of me is now my motivation to get back in better shape (I know that girl is still in there somewhere)! P.S. National Dancesport championships are on March 11-13 at the BYU Marriott center for any of you who like to watch ballroom dancing.
Thanks to my friend Kim, I'm now in love with these adorable Black Apple Dolls. I love making them from scrap fabric and giving them away as gifts. It's a fun way for me to just relax and focus on something else. This doll was given to my niece, Kenzie for her 7th birthday.
I must explain...Nick and I were in the living room, when we heard a "clickty-clacking" noise coming around the corner, when we turned to inspect the cause of this noise, we discovered this...our son! He must have thought, "my pants just don't go with these heels, and what the heck, I have great legs, why should I have to wait till summer to show them off."
Baby Blue Eyes! Why do we always want something we can't have?...I feel left out in this family of beautiful blue eyes! I'm just a little jealous, can you tell?

Oh Jack... your dad must have been so proud. Ok maybe not. Did you make the doll in the picture? I wish I could sew
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! You look rockin in that pic! I would kill for that flexibility! It's good to find your blog. Now I get to stalk you. :)
